Racine-Kenosha Counties -

RKC Third Coast is excited to announce its participation in the USL Youth League (formerly Super Y). This will be in addition to RKC Third Coast’s USL League 2 and USL W League, and USL Academy U20 Reserve team teams. For the summer of 2024, RKC will operate a U12, U14, and U16 boys and girls teams.

The USL Youth program will focus on providing high level training and play opportunities in the Milwaukee area and will help identify potential players for future Academy and first team participation. The teams will be formed via tryout and invitation and will operate after a youth players Club season is complete beginning at the end of June through July.

With overwhelming interest this year from younger players desiring the opportunity to be associated with our Club, we felt this was a great time to add to our young club in order to provide opportunities to develop players.

Training and home games will be in the Milwaukee area and most away games between Milwaukee and Chicago with some travel outside of this area.

Owner Wayne Howard states, “the opportunity to start a USL Youth program is an additional way for RKC Third Coast to engage with younger players in a collaborative and meaningful way with traditional youth clubs.” Additionally, ”RKC Third Coast has the mission to be open to all players and clubs and provide experiences that enhance a players experience with the game of soccer rather than compete for players in a saturated market” adds Wayne Howard.
